There is nothing quite as restorative to a tired mind as the sensory deprivation of a quiet, all white room. It feels like the whole world could use some time in one of these at the moment, myself definitely included.

Countdown To Labor Day
With only a few weeks left until Labor Day it is our last chance to really embrace all white ensembles! Okay, that’s not true, I’m actually a big fan of winter white. But still, summer whites have a special charm all their own, especially when paired with fantastic accessories. I’m pretty sure tying scarves around my wrist like a cuff is about to become my new obsession, don’t you love how carefree yet chic it looks?

Not Just For Boyfriends
I’ve always loved a big watch on a girl. They’re so much more functional (you can actually see what time it is on a big watch face, and I am obsessed with being early everywhere), and they have such a subtly sexy air about them. Oh, I just happened to put on my boyfriend’s watch this morning, oops! I’m thrilled to see that basically every stylish girl alive is sporting an oversized timepiece, and I think I need to expand my collection a bit. This spring I’m loving the classic gold watch, but shiny white straps and the warmth of rose gold are calling my name as well. Rose gold is especially flattering on us pale girls, and you can never go wrong with a clean white to complement the bright colors we are all loving right now.

Bright Whites and Blue Skies
These photos from the April 2011 Harper’s Bazaar look like a breath of fresh air! The idea of bright white dresses billowing in the cool breeze sounds so appealing right now. I think I would be quite happy to spend the entire summer in that top ensemble, I can’t imagine anything being more comfortable or chic!
