There are some things you just never outgrow. Like candy, and twirling when you put on a pretty dress. And if you are me, clapping your hands and squealing like a little girl when you see something fabulous. Which is exactly what I did when I discovered these gorgeous Twirl Larabee Dot Fete Mini Saucers from Kate Spade. They are inspired by Twirl, the newly launched fragrance, and they are now officially on my obsession list. Can’t you just see yourself sipping champagne from these polka dotted delights? Instant glamour!

I’ve been admiring gorgeous photos of macarons all over the blogosphere for months but I have yet to try one. This adorable chart has just sent me over the edge, I have to find some this week! I’m trying not to get too excited about them, I don’t want to build them up so much that I end up disappointed. But really, something this pretty just has to be delicious, right? I’m thinking some pretty macarons displayed on the champagne table would be delightfully Marie Antoinette for our summer parties!
Does anyone know where in the Boston area I can get my grabby little hands on some of these colorful treats?

We will be doing a bit of entertaining this summer and I not so secretly wish for all our gatherings to look exactly like the above photo! I want to be the girl in the pretty chiffon dress, leaning on a tree happily watching her friends having a crazy good time, cute champagne coupe by her side. I remember finding my parents square bottom champagne saucers in the glassware cabinet, and thinking about all the fancy parties I would have when I grew up with glasses exactly like those. Unfortunately glasses like those became harder and harder to find as the champagne world began to favor the flute, but in the past few years coupes have been staging a slow resurgence. I would love to add one of these styles to our barware collection!

Calvin Klein Alto Champagne Saucer, JL Coquet Pythagore Champagne Saucer are lovely modern adaptations.

Theresienthal Pure Champagne Coupe, Waterford Marc Jacobs David Champagne Saucer , Waterford Marc Jacobs Colette Champagne Saucer, are gorgeous, classic choices.

I think I am most partial to the Giarimi Design Feast Champagne Coupe, I love the shape and the slight tints add such a romantic touch! What do you think dear readers, any favorites? Are you fans of the flute or lovers of the coupe like myself? Have you found any cute saucers to sip from lately, do tell!
