As usual the lovely people at J.Crew are making me fall in love with everything in the fall/winter collection. They insist on pushing all of my hot secretary / menswear / sequin / plaid buttons, so really, my wallet has no hope.

Pretty Little Underthings
That moment in the year when it is still super hot but you’re tired of your summer clothes, and you’re starting your collection of fall items but you won’t be able to wear them for weeks, is the perfect time to invest in some pretty little unmentionables. Once the winter collections are out in full swing you’ll be blowing your budget on cashmere sweaters, so why not invest in a little lace now? Hopefully something new that I can actually wear right away will help me to stop sulkily stalking the new arrivals section and cursing the thermostat.
