Doesn’t this photo just make you sigh? I can hardly wait for warm days and leisurely strolls around a flower market, especially once the peonies make their appearance! This gorgeous girl (perfect dress, perfect haircut, all around perfect air of casual chic) is browsing a flower market in London so I am, of course, insanely jealous. But I think I would happily settle for a sunny day at a market a bit closer to home.

Even though I adore them, I tend to be a bit pattern shy in my home decor adventures. But then I see photos of an amazing space like this townhouse belonging to hoteliers Kit and Tim Kemp, and I am inspired to throw caution to the wind! Somehow, even though their home is full of both color and many different patterns, it looks very cohesive and even has a certain air of calm. I am particularly smitten by that fantastic yellow striped George Smith armchair, it is one of those special pieces that instantly makes me smile, and isn’t that they type of object we should surround ourselves with? Seeing their stylish home makes me want to take a little road trip to NYC and visit the Crosby Street Hotel, decorated by Tim and Kit. It is described by Elle Decor as “urban sophisticate meets God Save the Queen”, which sounds absolutely delightful, and be still my heart, they even offer an English Afternoon Tea!

As beautiful as a perfectly polished and faceted gemstone is, a free-form pebble, a slice of jagged agate, or sparkling shards of rough druzy are just as gorgeous, if not more so. I always get the urge to embrace all things natural in the spring, and these lovely “rocks” are definitely enough to awaken the earth goddess in all of us, don’t you agree?

My love for every single Bagatelles & Co. creation truly knows no bounds (you might recall me fainting over the tartan patterns last fall), but I have a special place in my heart for the lovely Gigi! I keep coming up with things that simply need to be carried in a Gigi (makeup, jewelry, coins…) so that I can have an excuse to collect them all, and these gorgeous spring prints are making it very difficult not to just buy them and worry about excuses later. Don’t you just love those little peacock feathers? Perfect for a romantic date night!
P.S. Does anyone else get serious manicure envy when browsing the Bagatelles store? Those ladies have the most gorgeous hands, every time I take a peek I can’t resist the urge to pop a fresh, shiny coat of polish on my tips!

As refreshing as the fruit itself, a little shot of lime is sure to put a spring in your step! How perfect is this seagrass handbag? I adore that touch of neon on such a classic shape, perfect for brightening up these overcast spring days.
