Bookworm

So many great books, so little time. Don’t you wish you could read in your sleep? They need to develop an app for that.

Paris in Love by Eloisa James – James and her family actually did what most of us only spend hours daydreaming of: they packed up and moved to Paris for a year. I’m going to try very hard to put aside my jealousy and live vicariously through their memoir. Though I am a bit concerned that this may just intensify the daydreams to an unbearable level.

Tomboy Style by Lizzie Garrett – I’m a huge fan of the blog, and I couldn’t be more excited to finally get my hands on the book! We all know tomboys are incredibly chic, the only question is which of the seven archetypes will you recognize yourself in?

Prague Winter by Madeleine Albright – I’ve always been an admirer of Madeleine Albright but knew we would be fast friends (if we ever met) when I read that she not only has an extensive collection of brooches, but that she chose which one to wear based on the message she was trying to send to whomever she was meeting with. A jewelry lover with a cheeky streak? My kind of woman! I can’t wait to read this memoir of her early childhood during World War II, I have a feeling it will be just as fascinating as the lady herself.
