This weekend I am embracing the last few cozy, wintry days before spring. I’ve gotten excited for spring much earlier than I usually do, mostly because we seem to have missed winter entirely. I have the same feeling you get at a restaurant when you wait for service so long you finally feel like just giving up and moving on to the dessert place next door (because really if isn’t going to snow we may as well move on to weather that allows me to wear my new flats, am I right?). But today I woke up to the thinnest little layer of snow, a little veil of white that the freezing weather will hopefully preserve for me through one last round of hot chocolate by the fireplace, big sweaters, and long movie nights.
