Bookworm

A few titles I can’t wait to read this month.

Charles Dickens: A Life  by Claire Tomalin – I know I’m not the only one who reads Dickens every holiday season, and watches every movie version of the Christmas Carol on repeat. Dickens is such a staple on my bookshelf I can’t wait to belatedly celebrate his birthday with this biography!

Londoners by Craig Taylor – It has been nearly five months since our trip to London and I still think about it every day (and check ticket prices for a return trip!). You might say I am firmly in the “long for it” category of this book.

Girl Land by Caitlin Flanagan – The psych student in me will never get tired of social commentary, I can’t wait to jump into Flanagan’s discussion of what it’s like to grow up as a girl and woman in today’s world.

I’m a huge bookworm myself and Londoners looks particularly interesting. (I just moved to London about 5 months ago) Loving it and can’t wait to read this on the train. Cheers!

I’m in the longing for London category as well – almost in a permanent state. I was looking for my next read; so thanks for finding it for me!

Okay I think I want to check Girl Land out, too. That sounds interesting.
