There are about a million tear sheets devoted to hot pink lipstick cluttering my desk and yet I still haven’t mustered the courage to give it a go myself. But after walking into my salon for a bang trim and spotting the most gorgeous (and brightest) shade of hot pink to date I knew I just had to go for it! I never ask women what they are wearing but I was so in love with the shade I couldn’t help myself and have since added Stila Long Wear Liquid Lip Color in Caprice to the top of my beauty wish list. (By the way, she mentioned that she had applied the color a full six hours before our meeting and it still looked flawless!) The owner of said bright pucker also had the most amazing red hair and the combination of the two was so gorgeous I wanted to click my heels three times and just become her on the spot! Red heads take note: run, don’t walk, to the nearest tube of hot pink lipstick, you definitely won’t be sorry.

Your commentary is too cute! I have Nars’s Schiap and I love it, especially paired with navy somewhere on my body. Or my eyes. But maybe I like it because my eyes are a pretty blue. Anyway, I’m glad you like it too. And I bet you’d look fabulous in it!
I have Carthage and it is an awesome color and consistency. I have very fair skin and love the bright contrast. Be brave & give it a try.
