For those keeping track I still haven’t turned the iPad on, but I have stumbled on what may just be the perfect case! I am in love with the idea of housing something so high tech in something so delightfully old world. And the James Bond aspect isn’t lost on me either, no one would ever know that one of your old books is actually a fancy iPad until you pull it off the shelf to play show and tell with the case, as I imagine you wouldn’t be able to stop yourself if you owned one of these beauties. These BookBook iPad cases by TwelveSouth could be used to explain my general outlook on life, I’d like it to look like the 1930′s but function like 2011. Unfortunately outside of using these stylish cases I doubt I’ll be able to pull that off, but it won’t stop me from trying.

Still haven’t turned it on?? As soon as I get a new piece of technology, I can’t wait to play with it- you should have seen what happened when my camera came in the mail last week.

I have seen these – so clever. I thought I was going to want an uber chic case for mine but the oh so clever one that Apple makes is perfect. It’s practical and good looking – perfect!
