So I have a little confession: I’ve owned the iPad 2 for nearly two months and have yet to use it. I haven’t even taken it out of the box if we’re being precise. This actually isn’t as bad as it sounds, when I bought my first MacBook in college it spent a year and a half in its box before I finally started using it, so we still have a few months to go before I break that record. What’s that you say? I’m crazy? Trust me, I am SO aware of it.
You see I have a little problem with using things that are shiny and new. I want their shiny newness to last forever, but we all know you can’t have your cake and eat it too, so I just keep them in their bright new boxes and live off the knowledge that they are safe. And while watching people gasp, gawk, and faint when I tell them this is slightly amusing, I’m hoping that getting a pretty little case for the iPad to live in will help me get over it. Or maybe I’m just using the nutty as an excuse to buy more shiny new things, I can’t be sure. Either way, what do we think, any favorites?

Small Dose ~ Wimbledon Stripes
Only Ralph Lauren could make me covet a ball girl uniform, but you must admit the redesign for Wimbledon 2011 is fabulous! I wouldn’t mind if the entire men’s Wimbledon collection showed up in my closet either (which begs the question why is it so much more fantastic than the women’s collection?). Get in on the fun with a polished homage to the purple and green stripes, perhaps even every other finger, do you dare?

Two Weeks of Love
