Pleats and Updos

The hairstyles alone were enough to keep me browsing the site for hours (I suddenly feel an intense urge to pile my hair into a very tall bun), but the light-as-air pleats made me really fall in love with Juliette Hogan! Aren’t these dresses just gorgeous? I could spend all season in these fluttery pieces, and I am seriously considering making a tank top and long pleated skirt my summer uniform. Remember when you were a little girl how you would twirl around while trying on dresses to see which one looked the prettiest spinning around you? (That wasn’t just me, right?) I have a feeling that is the first thing I would do in one of Juliette’s creations, twirl, twirl, twirl!

I’m obsessed with pleated skirts and dresses…and yet, I don’t own either! I’m on the hunt for some pleats, but have yet to come across some that are pretty AND affordable. I’ll have to browse through Juliette Hogan’s site and see what’s up!

can’t imagine how gorgeous they are when you walk…the movement must be sensational. of course, they’re beautiful when they’re still, too!
