Man Gear: How to Buy a Tux

I firmly believe that every gentleman should own a tuxedo. It is an investment, sure, but when you take into account the number of times one needs to rent a tux for weddings and black tie events in the long run it is actually the cheaper option. Not to mention the option that spares you the pleasure of hanging around the tuxedo rental shop with a bunch of high school seniors whose predecessors may or may not have puked in that tux you are about to get married in. Yeah, not a pleasant thought, is it?

If the thought of shopping for a tuxedo leaves you dizzy, don’t worry,  GQ Magazine has you covered! Pop over to their How to Buy a Tux guide, and in a matter of minutes (plus a quick shopping trip of course) you will have the James Bond-like ability to show up to a swanky affair on a moments notice. And, as their masterful stylists point out, always remember: “Opting for a classic doesn’t make you a square; it makes you a gentleman.”  I couldn’t have said it better myself!

Gotta love GQ! Hubby purchased his tux for our big day and still has fun mixing the jacket with jeans & sneaks sometimes.
