I’ve always considered pink and black to be one of the most gorgeous color combinations, and these rose gold and black diamond necklaces by Diane Kordas are a perfect example of just how chic it can be! There is nothing quite as comforting and cozy as a mug of hot chocolate on a cold, snowy day. These past few days have been so cold and so snowy I think we need to add a little kick to our cocoa, don’t you? A mug of this minty chocolate will warm you up in seconds and lift those winter weary spirits! Simply prepare a mug of hot chocolate (use 1 part half and half to 2 parts milk for the creamiest result), add 1 part Creme de Cacao, 2 parts Creme de Menthe, a marshmallow or two and feel the chill and your worries melt away.

Husband loves to give me the look and remind me that I’ve gone round the bend with the puppy love for our little terrier, but I think Famke Janssen has just validated all my kooky behaviors. I couldn’t have been more excited to find photos of the always chic and stylish Famke putting little Licorice in outfits (guilty), holding him like a baby (so guilty), and carrying cute breed specific tote bags (not guilty…although I do buy this Scottish dog a scandalous amount of plaid, so, yes, guilty). You will very rarely see Famke without Licorice in tow (they do make such a stylish little pair, don’t they?), and that definitely makes her a girl after my own heart! Any fellow “crazy dog ladies” out there, show of hands?

Another weekend of freezing cold and snow means I want to spend the next few days snuggled up under a pile of blankets. Perhaps I’ll leave my eyes peeking out to watch some sappy movies, and I may run out of the little nest every so often to refill my mug of hot chocolate, but mostly I plan to wrap myself, husband, and the dog in a dozen layers and stay put. If only I could find a hot water bottle or two I could use these adorable Flannel Hottie Covers and be as toasty as can be!

I’ve always been a huge fan of Bryce Dallas Howard so I was thrilled to hear she will be the new face of Kate Spade. I can’t wait to see the finished photos, with that smile, that hair, and all that bright Kate Spade goodness it just has to be amazing!
