Lady and the Pram

I can’t help but adore these photos of Karen Elson taken by Mario Testino for Vogue. Isn’t that top dress an absolute dream (and I certainly wouldn’t say no to the fabulous armchair either)? I love the dreamy haziness and the ultra ladylike air of these images. I’ve already declared to my husband that when we have a baby I will have a proper pram to wheel the little one around. He immediately said yes, either because he thinks I am kidding (I am not), or because he has no idea how much they actually cost (and I’m not about to tell him, when the time comes he won’t be able to say no to a pregnant lady, right?).

She is fabulous, love his photography. I also want a pram when we have kids! I’ll probably opt for the modern version of it though…a la Bugaboo. ;)

Can I just have a pram now? Since I don’t have a child or pet, I’ll have to wheel my groceries around in it or something.

These photos are just stunning, and I’m also smitten with the idea of a classic pram! Thank goodness we don’t have to worry about investing in one just yet!

Get the pram. You totally need one even if you don’t have a baby to put in it yet. It’s just very cool.

And now I just need to say, in regards to your neighbor and no gift note, that I think we were separated at birth and you might be my new BFF. I about rolled off the chair laughing!!

So wanted a pram when I was a young mom and what I settled for was a far cry from the elegance and sophistication of these gorgeous pictures. And how about those beautiful red nails??
