Tie One On

An adorable illustrated guide to tying a bow tie not only helpful for the party filled holiday season (out of practice hands can make for some very frustrated men, and very sad looking bows) but also lovely enough to frame in a gentleman’s dressing area, don’t you agree? Whatever you do, just say no to the pre-tied bow!

I adore this! John had such an impossible time learning to tie a bow tie, but now that he’s got the technique down, he wears one nearly every day!

I learned to tie one of these in college as a waitress (yes, we also had to wear penny loafers and khakis – the good ole preppy days!) and have always done my hubby’s black tie. Sort of goofy in a romantic kind of way!

I’m hoping to make a straight tie as well as a bowtie for my boyfriend for Christmas, so this will be endlessly useful when he opens it up! Lovely.
