Style Inspiration: Darling Argyle

From the shoes, to the argyle dress, to the sweet yellow jacket, this photo is absolute perfection! I would very much like to be this gorgeous girl today.  Any day really.  Are you a fan of argyle? I am obsessed with it, but I do need to branch out from just socks and sweaters, an argyle dress is now officially on the shopping list.

The dress is adorable, the cardigan looks cozy, but the shoes definitely make this whole outfit. Seriously, this girl totally looks like someone I know. Or should know. Good luck finding your argyle dress — I’m off to hunt for shoes like that!

That is a very classy look, one you should certainly try! How’d the painting turn out? What color did you end up with?

Oh I’m a big fan of argyle! Sadly I only have a few pair of socks and a sweater vest, but this dress is certainly catching my eye!

Oh my goodness-how fantastic! We’re an argyle house, but I’ve never found a dress before, and how amazing it is!

I, like Meagan, would also like to know how house painting went!

Lena and Meagan – We ended up choosing Benjamin Moore November Skies (grayish-blue / blueish-gray). The guys have started scraping off the old paint today (SO loud and squeaky!) so we’re hoping to have new paint up early next week perhaps. Can’t wait! Will definitely post photos.
