I’m loving this collaboration between jewelry designer Tom Binns, and clothing designer John Eshaya. The seven piece collection features screen prints of Tom Binns’ gorgeous jeweled necklaces on roomy white t-shirts. Above is Elizabeth, my favorite, you can see Victoria, Raj, Winston, Skull and Dragonfly on the JET website. Wouldn’t these be cute with a pair of jeans on casual summer days, or even to lounge around the house in on warm evenings? All the sparkle, none of the weight, and only a small fraction of the cost!

How adorable is this Imperial Correspondence Set from Yellow Owl Workshop? Perfect for the little prince or princess, or for those of us who are a bit older but still wouldn’t be able to resist jotting down a quick letter with a pencil that said The Royal Highness. The old school solid-dashed lined paper brings me right back to grade school, trying so hard to have my cursive letters fit perfectly in the spaces, always getting in trouble for adding extra flourishes to my capital letters. The teacher spent a lot of time explaining to me that my letters were pretty but not correct, and I spent a lot of time silently wondering in what world was pretty not correct. There is also a very cute Camp Mail kit perfect for the summer season.

Rosamund Pike is exceptionally beautiful, especially so in this lovely photo. From the red lips and nails, to the cute dress, to the perfectly imperfect hair, a gorgeous summer style inspiration! The hair style is actually a bit reminiscent of Brigitte Bardot, yes? Very cute and would actually work with the humidity induced texture of summer hair. Wouldn’t we all like to look like this all summer long, preferably while sitting in what appears to be a charming little garden?

Happy Friday everyone!! Hope you have wonderful and exciting plans for the evening! This weekend’s cocktail is the French “75″, created (or at the very least first popularized) during World War I and named after the French 75mm field gun, Canon de 75 modele 1897. This should give a clue as to the strength of this delicious concoction, more than two and you are sure to enter lampshade wearing territory, you have been warned. Enjoy!
French “75″
2 oz. lemon juice
2 tsps. simple syrup or superfine sugar
2 oz. Gin
Champagne, chilled
Stir first three ingredients in a collins glass, add ice cubes, fill with Champagne and stir. Garnish with lemon slices.
