Happy Friday everyone! Even though the calendar says otherwise we all know that Memorial Day weekend signifies the unofficial start of summer. One of my favorite summer treats is watermelon and this weekend’s cocktail marries it with basil for an unexpected, delicious, and refreshing treat. I hope you enjoy the Watermelon Basil Margaritas, and have a wonderful long weekend full of sunshine, friends and family! And while we have fun and enjoy our time off let’s make sure to also remember the true meaning of Memorial Day and show our love and respect for all the fallen heroes. You can do so simply and meaningfully by participating in the National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m. local time and pausing for a moment of silence. See you on Tuesday dear friends!

I’ve been hearing about this movie starring the always lovely Audrey Tautou for a few months now, and I think it is time to put it in the Netflix queue. Hors de Prix (international title: Priceless) is said to be reminiscent of a Breakfast at Tiffany’s remake but with a bit more of a dark side. I haven’t really looked at the reviews because I can’t imagine a French romantic comedy in which Audrey seems to be pulling off drink umbrellas as hair ornaments to be anything but fabulous and visually stunning! Just looking at the gorgeous dresses above is making me look forward to the rest of the film. Has anyone seen Priceless? What did you think?
